Invasive Species Control
Detection • Control & Manage • Prevention
An “invasive species” is non-native to the ecosystem and can cause environmental harm. Invasive species compete directly with native species for moisture, sunlight, nutrients, and space. Overall plant diversity can be decreased and spread of an invasive species can degrade wildlife habitat, degrade water quality, increase soil erosion which results in poor quality agriculture lands and decreased recreation opportunities.
While it may be impractical to totally eradicate completely in large infestations, we will work with you on a treatment plan to limit the possibilities of regrowth. We will combine mechanical, cultural, and chemical methods for most effective control.
